It's Saturday night, and I'm gonna spend it with you guys.
Aren't you lucky?

Kidding. What's everybody up to? It's a beautiful evening here... the sun is just setting at 7:02 and I'm about to pour the glass of wine I've been waiting for all week. Also, I bought myself a greenhouse to occupy my time this summer and I am EXCITED! At the old house it was all flowers, as befitted a freaking mansion. Here, I'm breaking ground to grow my Victory Garden.

So, Happy Saturday Eve, DUers. :hi:

Hey you :loveya:
I'm good. I'm presently licking crystal light powder off of my finger tips.
I have a hell of a time mixing it thoroughly and I get powder clumps on top of the ice.:dunce:
I would rather be sipping a glass of vino but I'm trying to drop a few lb's.

Just lately, this butt has been working out and looks pretty good! :P

Lemon-lime Crystal Light: I drink it all the time. And funny, I'm working out and dieting but this evening I decided to skip dinner and drink wine. It's kind of amazing how the wine hits me now that I don't drink three times a week and don't eat all day long. Are you exercising?

Working 11-13 hours a day lately is sort of taking its toll on me and my energy levels.
I have been counting calories though.
I have a few 65 calorie Becks Premium Light beers, Maybe I will have one or both of those in your honor. :)

I did read something in "Fitness" this week that said that women who drink one glass of wine a night have smaller waists than those who don't. How this might translate to men & beer I cannot say!

24. Hey Sweetpea,
The greenhouse hasn't arrived yet. It's really a glorified cold frame. Wait, here it is:

I start seedlings in the house and when they get too big for the grow lights, I move them to the greenhouse (in theory). It still gets way below freezing here so nothing is going outside.

And I've been surprisingly well, considering my new-ish single status and all the griefs associated thereby. Kinda great, actually. How about you? :pals:

Eagles song for you to keep you strong! :pals: :loveya: :hi:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL6Fa_1pMCU

Well, I heard some people talkin' just the other day
And they said you were gonna put me on a shelf
But let me tell you I got some news for you
And you'll soon find out it's true
And then you'll have to eat your lunch all by yourself
'Cause I'm already gone
And I'm feelin' strong
I will sing this vict'ry song, woo, hoo, hoo, woo, hoo, hoo

The letter that you wrote me made me stop and wonder why
But I guess you felt like you had to set things right
Just remember this, my girl, when you look up in the sky
You can see the stars and still not see the light (that's right)

And I'm already gone
And I'm feelin' strong
I will sing this vict'ry song, woo, hoo,hoo,woo, hoo,hoo

Well I know it wasn't you who held me down
Heaven knows it wasn't you who set me free
So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains
And we never even know we have the key

But me, I'm already gone
And I'm feelin' strong
I will sing this vict'ry song
'Cause I'm already gone
Yes, I'm already gone
And I'm feelin' strong
I will sing this vict'ry song
'Cause I'm already gone
Yes, I'm already gone
Already gone
All right, nighty-night

55. Good evening, lovely crim son...
:hi::loveya:

I'd love to sit and have a glass of wine with you. But Finals are coming up starting on Monday, and I'm buried in studying. I just came up for air for a little while. But it's good to see you happy and celebrating. Does my heart a world of good.

I'll try to pop in every now and then tonight to see what's shaking... B-)

57. Thanks, Aristus!
Studying is good. True, I don't feel like it at the moment, but I do covet the feeling of purpose that accompanies the scholarly endeavor.

Also, I'm now engaged to TK421. :P

Unless you're, you know, Southern Baptist or something... B-)

82. Anyway, don't get too attached to TK421; I'm assigning him to a far-flung station
with no wi-fi, phone or mail service. It's a punitive assignment for always being away from his post. :P

It's not even 11:00 and I am in bed, watching a documentary on the Spanish Civil War. There is no hope for me tonight, haha.

66. BB King once said...
...the notes that are played are important, but never as important as the spaces between each note.

That's my gift to you. It's helped me, especially in 2009, which...so far...has not been the easiest of years.

Play the notes. Savor the space between them. Grow that Victory Garden and reap your harvest.

73. Hello : )
:hi:

Enjoy your wine...
I'm a social drinker...I'm antisocial, hence....I haven't had a drink in ages.:o

Today we had a family party for my son's birthday...I bought him a box of boxers because his dog ate all his underwear!

I think the greenhouse is a wonderful gift to yourself...enjoy!

peace~
