Yesterday, March 6, 2009 ­ a date which will live in infamy ­ the DU Lounge was suddenly drawn into a war between two different Lounge fractions, the Federation Of Tater and the Nation Of Midlo.

The DU Lounge was at peace with these fractions, and, at the solicitation of taterguy and Midlo, was still in conversation with their diplomats (and Switzerland) looking toward the maintenance of the peace and playful happiness in the DU Lounge.

It will be recorded that the past friction between these two fractions makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time both parties involved have deliberately sought to deceive the DU Lounge by copycat, bicycle and supernatural threads of hope for continued peace.

The war yesterday in the DU Lounge has caused severe damage to this community. I regret to tell you that very many LOLpuppies have been lost. In addition, Lounge polls have been reported being biased from the beginning by including a dingbat option. The DU Lounge will continue to remain in ruins over this.

I also regret to tell you that there is no hope anymore and no LOLcats tomorrow. We are doomed.
