We are back with a whole lotta books to read!
Just had a lovely trip to the bookstore and a nice lunch out. We bought a lot of books:

Drood, by Dan Simmons (I never buy fiction, but I love Dan Simmons. It looks really interesting)

Final Exits: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of How We Die

Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day

Handmade Nation: The Rise of DIY, Art, Craft and Design

Molecular Gastronomy: Exploring the Science of Flavor

The Last Lion: The Fall and Rise of Ted Kennedy

:woohoo:

5. So far so good.
I already read a bunch of the book via the Globe's 7 part installment to promote the book. I was so invested in that series that I had to buy the book.

Teddy just received his first communion at the Vatican from Pope Pius X11.

Looks creepy and interesting. Over 700 pages, as well. :o

8. Dan Simmons is teh awesome.
The Hyperion cantos are some of my favorite books, I'm currently reading Illium (then Olympos), and Terror is lined up in the queue (Gordon read it & LOVED it).

AND I want to read his novella, Muse of Fire.

Congrats on all the books! :hi: :loveya:
