A pet-peeve: purposely confusing sociopaths with psychopaths

As I was watching the "Watchmen" (No pun intended) I was becoming annoyed with the directors and writers of the movie because they kept referring to Rorschach as a sociopath: WRONG!! Rorschach by definition is a psychopath not a sociopath. That is all.

the person behind me in the theatre yesterday at the movie was a fucking PSYCHO! He laughed, hysterically and uncontrollably at EVERY grotesque scene in the movie. How in the hell is laughing maniacally during the meat cleaver scene appropriate? That guy nearly ruined the movie fore me. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that guy turns out to be a serial killer.
