14. For my 16th birthday, I saw the Temps and the Supremes in LA

at the Coconut Grove in the old Ambassador Hotel. Me and my girl (she drove cuz I had no license then)drove in my Daddy's Lincoln Mark IV from Sacramento, had diner at the Cove (80 bucks for two!!!!) and saw the show, which blew my mind.

That is my type of music right there.

love it all, but TWYDTYD, Ball of COnfusion, Psychedlic Shack, Just My Imagination are all my faves...I love the covers too, The Jerry garcia band used to flat kill TWYDTTYD and the Stones were great with Just My Imagination.
