Confess to one of your DU failings

Mine? When I alert on a "Personal Attack" thread, it is all but impossible for me not to post a snarky reply to that attack, which of course would be a bullshit thing for me to do. I find that I can resist this urge, but only with a supreme effort of will.

What are your failings re: DU behavior?

1. The only time I usually get pissed off enough to say something that'll get deleted...

is when somebody tries to tell me what I'm thinking. For some reason that's the one thing that I just can't let go quietly.

It seems there is almost always one wickedly stupid answer that noone should ever pick. Every single time I'm tempted to pick that answer just to see how many people freak out that some one did select it. I've yet to do it but it is always the first thing to cross my mind when I see it.

I cannot post in the vibes requested threads. I guess I am too emotionally dead to give anyone else anything. I would like to be one of those people encouraging others on, but I am not.

I rarely post in any other situation that doesn't require answering a question. I love to help people out with answers, and I am great at research.

I sometimes wonder why I read the lounge at all on those days where everything is "fill in name here" (or other cliquish things). I hate those days. And I find something else to do. Mostly Flickr.

I never copycat, but I do find some copycats humorous.

I will put someone on ignore for being a jerk or an idiot even if I myself am not involved in the thread or in an exchange with that person. I once deleted an OP which called for an opinion just because I thought the person was a jerk for doing what he / she did.

There are too many likable people here to waste time on the jerks.

ETA: I have alerted twice, both times for racism, both times the mods took action. I have not ever placed another poster on ignore. I have hidden many threads, always because I was not interested in the subject.

ETAII: I actually did have one poll modded now that I think about it. I was challenged to write something better than the Koran, so I made a poll about it, and that poll got locked.
