2. OK - say your taking a corner at 70
you can keep the speed while sticking to the road as if you were driving a roller coaster on tracks

Responds as if you ARE the car

Takes off like a rocket

Hard to explain - you just gotta try it someday

Audis make BMW's look like tinkertoys

9. Your report sounds a lot like what my brother said when he test drove a quattro.
He said it felt like you were on rails. The only AWD system I've driven has been on a minivan, so I'm sure that although handy in snow, it was no comparison.

I'm sure that sooner or later my brother will be getting a VW or Audi with the all wheel drive. I'll have to volunteer to designated drive on an evening out.

10. Definitely. Only I know myself, and will never own one
Because I know I'll never let it drop beneath 60 and end up killing myself.

12. It's not that - I just don't want to die just yet
And yes, I will drive like a maniac in that car

It's best for the rest of the world if I just stick with the Prius

6. Probably the best car I've ever driven.
Edited on Wed Feb-11-09 02:49 PM by Forkboy
We used to pick up classic cars down south and bring them back up here to Mass. I've driven BMWs, Mercedes, Jags, even a Delorean...none of them handled like the Audi did.

7. No doubt - I used to be a valet at the Fairmont in SJ
I got to drive Ferraris, BMW's, Jags, Maseratis, etc...

My favorite was ALWAYS the Audis

8. Those were pretty bad-ass.....
My sister drove a TT Quattro for several years- I still hate her for trading it in without even offering to sell it to me. That is, I hate her to an extent- she found out that a month after she got rid of it, the AC completely died. I would not have been very happy with that....
