LOST is really starting to piss me off

I'm getting sick of this flashing bright light time travel crap.

Would the plot please start moving along already!

1. I don't bother with Lost.

They literally make that shit up as they go along, but people gobble it up like candy.

5. You don't bother with Lost, yet you somehow know they make it up as they go along?

If you actually watched Lost you would know how untrue that is. Aside from that, though, I hate when people say that about anything, not just Lost. Even if they WERE making it up as they go along, what difference does that make? It's still a good, engaging, complex story that is miles ahead of anything that's been on TV in quite some time.

2. Time travel IS the plot.

And there were some pretty important plot elements in last night's episode.

4. I know it is, but this is starting to get very Groundhog Dayesque

And last nights episode was better than last weeks, but still pretty boring and annoying. I just wonder if this entire season is going to be like this- something starts to happen and then the bright light comes along.

It turns out Cara Thrace went through one of the Stargate: Universe seeded stargates, ended up on the world of the Ori, got resurrected once, sent back to Earth, only at the wrong time, got sucked up by the smoke monster that really turned out to be a time-traveling genie that had blinked badly when she sneezed and a passing Ancient resurrected Cara again as revenge against a nearby Prior, this time with a brand new ship, teleported inot the proper jump-space and already on the way home to Galactica.

I mean come on, they find a fucking CAR on the island!!!! With gas!!!!
