3. Mah N Mah N
"Mah N Mah N" debuted as part of Umiliani's soundtrack for the Italian mondo film Svezia, inferno e paradiso (Sweden: Heaven and Hell) (1968), a pseudo-documentary about wild sexual activity and other behavior in Sweden. The song accompanied a scene in the film set in a sauna. The lead part was sung by Italian singer/composer Alessandro Alessandroni.<1> The song also appeared on the 1968 soundtrack album released for the film.

"Mah N Mah N" was a hit in many countries in 19681969. In the U.S. it peaked at #55 in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and #44 on the Cash Box magazine chart in October 1969.

Enjoy!

4. Gawd! That's hilarious!
The roots of it, that is!

I wonder if the producers of The Muppet Show were aware of its origins ;)

5. Jim Henson was a cool artist
It first aired on The Ed Sullivan Show way before TV Muppet show was created. You bet your sweet bippy Jim was very aware of the song's origin.

6. I'd have to go with the soundtrack to "The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue".
It was also used as the theme to "The People's Court".

Don't know which (ahem) came first.

There's nothing like good clown porn.

It so much reminds me of my first time. I can still feel her beard.

10. I noticed almost all the comments are in German.
Is there some love for clowns that is greater in Germany than here? :P

15. I think the Germans just have a greater appreciation for clown sex
My greatest fantasy is to find a woman that has squeak toys for implants and likes to dress up with a big red nose and floppy shoes.

18. I'm not sure if that is the actual origin.
I'm not sure what the name of that tune is, but it seems to be reasonably popular as a clown theme these days much in the same way Entry of the Gladiators has been.

Isn't that kinda like saying one buys the magazine for the "articles?"

Like, who READS those things anyway? Yes, this IS rhetorical ;)

"wakka chikka wakka chikka ... "

Just turning the lights down low, and turning up some candles :)

to refresh my memory of them. Still, they remind me of Thomas Dolby and a little of Peter Baumann.

:)

When my friend and I saw them (with Fudgetunnel) we spoke with her for a bit before they went on. She was totally cool and laid back. She still does some stuff that's not too bad.

but Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" and ZZ Top's "LaGrange" are extremely seductive, imo.
