Dynamite Possible Role for Brad Pitt.....I just watched Benjamin
Button. I loved the movie and was struck three or four times during the parts where Brad Pitt looks like he really does now that........he looks very, very much like JFK. If he could do a manageable JFK voice he would be a spectacular Kennedy. The right vehicle needs to be developed ASAP for Mr. Pitt, imo, because he could really shine.

Anyone else struck by the similarity? I didn't think the movie was too long at all. I love long movies that make me think, though. I am also a sucker for historical pieces.

1. I felt that it was just about right in terms of length. The pacing was a touch off in places
but that's not a huge problem.

I especially liked the bit about how the dancer was hit by the car. Such things rarely show actual awareness of detail, and that did.

2. Yeah, I thought that was very interesting. I have, on occasion,
thought about that when something good, or bad, happens. If "one thing" was different where would I be now? Interesting. To me, at least.

3. A lot of Brad Pitt in BB was computer-generated
I saw something on TV about how about 80% of his part was created on computer-- so it's probably not so much Brad Pitt you saw as it was a computer graphic artist's rendering of Brad Pitt.

Either way, he did a decent job. :D

4. The effects were indeed incredible. Soon we might be able to
watch Bogart or Lombard in a new movie. Once they get voice imitation down the sky is the limit. I really think it was actual Pitt that I was noting the resemblance in, though.
