...I'll spare you the backstory and just say that as a business owner, it has become necessary for me to sell more aggressively in order to bring in new business. It all comes with the territory but I know "old school" business guys who haven't cold-called in years who are back in the trenches.

SO...finding myself in need of some inspiration as I faced this ongoing task...

...I found a Cookie Monster clip on YouTube from Sesame Street that cheered ME right up.

It is called Cookie Questions Prairie Dawn. As the title implies, he uses the tried and true sales technique of "asking questions" to close the deal. I now watch this clip every time before I head out for sales calls.
