I lost ten pounds and have no idea how I did it.

I knew I'd been looking slightly thinner lately, but didn't pay any attention to it. I don't believe my eating habits have radically changed, although I do know I don't get hungry nearly as often as I used to. I eat one meal a day and snack as the mood strikes- some times chips, some times cookies- I haven't made an effort to limit calories. I've been eating one meal a day for years, so that hasn't changed. (Although I'm a large man I have a surprisingly small stomach, and I fill up fast. Nothing new there.)

It's been a while since I've stepped onto a scale, so when I did so while doing some clinics at the V. A. Hospital this morning, I discovered I was exactly ten pounds lighter than the last time I checked.

Cool!

Now I suppose I'll begin thinking about it and thus change things, and in a few weeks the ten pounds will be back...

Yeah, I mentioned it- she didn't seem too concerned. My BP and temp were normal as usual, and I don't really present any worrisome symptoms.

I'll be fine.

It might be a sign of illness. If you continue to lose weight and you don't see a reason, please see a doctor.
