17. Sometimes you need that Daiquiri in a hurry!!!

I'm not much of a daiquiri drinker, though- every once in a while on a hot summer day I'll go get one to sip by the pool.

On a beach trip several years ago, my friend and I arrived and made the run to the liquor store and bought an obscene number of cases of beer. The next day, we started early and since there was no trash can immediately near us, we simply rammed our finished beer bottles neck-down in the sand for safekeeping until we would pick them up later. And, I should note that because I'm not an idiot- I was matching each beer with some water (I had to make a lot of trips to the restroom, but I didn't get dehydrated and sick!).

Hours later, we had quite an expanse of beach real estate taken up by beer bottles. A family near us had been casting a wary eye, thinking we were SURE to get crazy and/or violent soon, but we were just as happy as clams, listening to our tunes and socializing with our friends. As we began to pick up the bottles into a trash bag we had brought down, one of the older guys with the family near us came over and remarked how impressive/scary it was that we were still conscious, much less walking around normally. We shrugged and said almost in unison, "We're from Louisiana," which seemed to explain everything....

I kid, but I have to admit, those places have taken the daiquiri to new heights of refreshing goodness. And I thought I was too grown up, worldly, and male to drink daiquiris. Not so!

I know this might not be the cookie cutter answer,
but not only am I a drinker,but I enjoy getting drunk on
occasion.lol

All alcohol is great to me,but I love beer the most.

Molson Canadian,Black Ice,and Bud are my faves.

The longest I went without an alcoholic beverage my whole adult
life was a little over a yr.

All jokes aside,everything is good,in moderation.

And if you are going to drink,please don't drive.
