Speaking of translating lyrics, fun with Babel Fish
Raccoon's thread put me in mind of the old lazy day game of tranlating text back and forth using Babel Fish. So I took the lyrics to "Let It Be," translated them into Portuguese, translated them back into English, then to Russian, then back to English. The results follow; EVERYBODY sing:
When I meet in the period the MATI of mary of problem I I come I the word of the speech of wisdom, I left it in order to be. E in my hour of the blackout of rights in the front me the word of the speech of wisdom, it left in order to be. You leave must to it, to leaves it in order to be. It whispers to the words of wisdom, they leave in order to be. E when the living of people of hearted broken into concordant peace, will have an answer, left in order to be . even so they it is possible to leave they have still capability of which to see it will have an answer, they left in order to be . you you leave must to it, to leaves it in order to be. yeah has an answer, in order to be . of E when will be misty, will not still have a light to which it shines in me, brightness is further to tomorrow, left in order to be . agreement i to the sound of notes the mother of mary it comes I the word of the speech of wisdom, I left it in order to be. You leave must to it, to leaves it in order to be. It will have an answer, in order to be . you leave it to it, to it leave in order to be, it whisper to the words of wisdom, it they leave in order to be.
