But I found out that I didn't get a job I was hoping for. I interviewed first in November, then had to go back and give a presentation. Today a get a letter in the mail. I thought I had it nailed. I felt confident. I was practically picking out apartments already. Now I am just crushed. I hate my current job. I am bored out of my mind. I went back to school and finally graduated with an MS last fall. I was sure that was all that I needed. Guess I was wrong. I am just numb right now, crying my eyes out.

I am dreading going to work tomorrow (well I dread every day because my job sucks and the people I work with really suck). Maybe I'll call in sick. Fuck them.

But there are only so many pens I can use. Instead, I call in sick when I am not really. I don't do it often, two or three times a year. It's sort of a mental health day.

And I am not likely to be laid off. I have good benefits and all that but I have done the same damn thing for almost 12 years and I am tired of it. I got my Masters so I could move up in this organization. Granted, I only graduated six months ago so maybe I need to be more patient. The problem is, openings are rare. There have been quite a few in the last six months. There is still a chance I could get one of the four remaining openings I suppose but for some reason, I thought my best chance was this one.
