I love bucking authority!!!
Today I am wearing my Obama shirt to work!

We have a casual dress code, and t-shirts are allowed, but they frown upon any logos, writing, etc.

Many, many people wear clothing with logos and writing. I never do.

But today, I am wearing my Obama shirt and daring them to make me change!

:woohoo::woohoo:

I already heard one person mutter to her buddy that "I suppose they will make exceptions today" and have had numerous people compliment me.

:bounce::bounce:

(oh, and I know the thread title is just BEGGING for a copycat ;) )

1. You're a rebel
My job has a strict dress code, so I wouldn't dare. They were going to set up a TV in a conference room for people to watch the festivities (the company I work for is nice) but I'm on vacation for most of the week so I get to watch at home. :woohoo:

3. I wore a "Vote Bush Out" shirt every day for a month
before the 2004 election. I think that is why they incorporated the no logos/writing rule ;)

I was supposed to have today off, but I have had to take too many days off this month already.

HR sent a memo that all the TVs will be tuned to the inauguration and welcomed everyone to watch - I wonder if that means I can just sit in the media lounge on the couch all day :woohoo:

5. Supporting the change politician who is in authority now
by daring authority to make you change when you don't want to do so.

Now that's deep.
