"Look Around You."
I'm so impressed.

Oh... I just watched a show, that's all. It reminded me of the ineffable rules of an utterly and very specifically irrational game of bare tangentials. We called it "A Million and One Questions".

No, not tangenitals, which is the barely touching of genitals.
(you sick bastards)

I only knew three people who could play the game.

The show "Look Around You" is brilliant because it uses the rule of 99% absurdity.

Ok... I'm done.

Anyone want to learn how to play?

3. Well, there's really no good way to describe the rules in less than ten volumes...
But the best way to play "Million and One Questions" is to play.

Quick (and very general) guidelines;

- It is a response-based game.
- There is one starting assertion/statement/query/embellishment/interrogative/accusation/implication/explication/color/number/noun/verb/hyperbole/whatever to kick off the match. (The one who accepts the challenge to play lobs the first volley/assertion/statement/query/embellishment/interrogative/accusation/implication/explication/color/number/noun/verb/hyperbole/whatever)
- points are scored almost entirely on aesthetics.
- aesthetics are adjudicated under two circumstances;
a) a third (or fourth, fifth, sixth, firth, foremost, utmost, mos def, everest, geosynchronous, white picket fence, goldilocks) person who can decipher the intricacies of a "Million and One Questions" will award points.

Or...

b) The two players, of mutual understanding, award points to each-other. (addendum; sometimes awarding points is like bluffing in poker.)

and then the Sun goes nova.

Ready?

You start...

2. Is that the British version, or have they made an American one?
Because the 2 British series I've seen were heavily based on 70/80s British programmes, and the jokes wouldn't be quite so good for those who hadn't seen the original.
