I'm Kind Of In A Celebratory Mood!
Edited on Sat Jan-17-09 02:09 AM by Southpawkicker
Life is good!

I may lose my ass in divorce court....

and then again I may not....

either way, life ain't over...

so I reinvent myself... been there done that...

I won't lose my son

and I won't lose my spirit...

So celebrate with me!

here's to days and nights of peace and love...

:grouphug:

I used to post love songs for someone here... and I wouldn't change that for anything

tonight I post one for me...and for you....

(and kiss my ass if you don't like it :P don't listen)

The Dance
Garth Brooks
Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared 'neath the stars above
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end, the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance

Holding you, I held everything
For a moment wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say? you know I might have changed it all

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance

Yes my life, it's better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance

1. I'll Celebrate With you
That is a great song. Makes a person stop and think that if we did know how it would all end...would we give up the good memories just to stop from feeling the pain.

Reinvent yourself again, I have many times over.

Cheers!

5. I was with you until Garth Brooks.
(Wags finger in a manner which will produce guilt and summarily result in changed behaviour, for the better).

;)
