Attention crazy people on craigslist: kindly stay the fuck away from me and my home.

I've had some weird craigslist experiences before, but this tops all. We're in the middle of refurnishing and redecorating our living room, and I'd listed several of the old things on craigslist, including two matching shelf units. Some of the new stuff is in already (new sofa), some of the old stuff is still there (shelves, etc.). Things are in mild dissaray, but still relatively neat and VERY clean.

In the ad for the shelves, there's a picture I took this weekend of our shelves, all loaded up with books, as well as a catalog picture of the shelf unit empty & by itself. Detailed measurements given, too.

So a woman stops by today--Character Assassin is at home right now, and just showed them to a woman who'd emailed about them. She walks in, looks around for a few seconds as he gestures to the shelves, then she gets up in his face (all 6'3" of him) and goes "YAAAAAAAAAAA! NOTHING MATCHES!"

He stands there with his jaw on the ground for a second or two, and she goes "This isn't what I expected! This isn't what I expected!" and walks out.

What the holy fucking fuck is wrong with that woman? I'm glad CA was there, and not me--I tend to be a tad more confrontational in situations like that, as opposed to his calm, steady nature. It freaked HIM out, and he's virtually un-freak-out-able.
