Mine Eyes Have Been Assaulted By The Sweater Of Chartreuse
Is this a new trend in clothing? Colors that make your eyeballs bleed? I couldn't believe it when I saw this woman's sweater today. My grandma had a pants suit that color . . . in 1975.

2. Are you talking "Airport Firetruck/Stadium Security" yellow?
If so, it might be a trend. I just saw a neighbor with a windbreaker in a shade of yellow I call "airport firetruck." It is the most visible shade of yellow (which itself is the most visible color), and safety vehicles at the airport and stadium security personnel are covered in this shade of yellow.

3. Yep. THAT'S the color.
Chartreuse is green; with your reply I've realized that what I was squinting at is yellow.

I've just seen it again today, in an argyle-patterned sweater vest. Ugh.

5. It's Bush**'s fault!
No, seriesly, it is. Things in garish colors like that scream "She bought me at a thrift shop or off the discount rack!!"
