What are you looking forward to in 2009?

1) Obama's inauguration!!

2) It should be a year to remember for me in music. Looking forward to releases from these artists and more:

Pornographers, Tori Amos, Pearl Jam, Wilco, Neko Case, Michelle Branch, Franz Ferdinand,
Duncan Sheik, Courtney Love, Robyn Hitchcock, Garbage, Indigo Girls, The Like, Stars,
Amy Winehouse, The Wrens, Gillian Welch, Stone Temple Pilots, Francesca London, Automatic
Loveletter (Automatic Loveletter and Hey Monday are somewhat like Paramore, but even better IMO), Jessica Harp, Kate Voegele...

3) Looking forward to my dog Gordon growing up

4) My cousin's wedding

5) Testing the new Comodo Internet Security.. supposed to be great security for free with a better AV and usability

6) Turning the country around with our Democratic Presidency and Congress!

I don't know.... coming to terms with might be a better way for me to look at it.

1. not being 2008 - my friends who died in 2008 are dead now, so that can't happen again.... umm.... so that'll be good?

2. dealing with being more and more bald every day - maybe get a hat? a powdered whig?

3. figuring out what it is for me to be single and discover an identity for myself that isn't intrinsically as 1/2 of a couple

4. making new and exciting music and strengthening and developing relationships with these musicians that I'm working with now

5. being an adult man in my 30s who isn't getting any younger, has to start acting his age, and being ok with that
