It's called "American Dynasty: Aristrocracy, Fortune, and the Politics of Deceit in the House of Bush" I love that he's a REPUB bashing Bush.

It is an amazingly well written book. You should have seen him on CSPAN... He finished by telling Dems to 'Take back the American flag.'

3. That's been my mantra too - "take back the flag"...
...from those lying cheating liars. And speaking of Nixon Republicans, I can't WAIT for John Dean's book! That will be AWESOME! :bounce:

2. Technically, I believe he's no longer a Republican
He became an Independent. But he was one of Nixon's men in 1968. He predicted the rise of the Republican South.

I'm #250 on the wait list at my local library-I may have to break out and by it.

He also lent me Franken's book, and the other boss loaned me Conason's book. My 3rd boss studies and teaches ethics.... and is no fan of the BFE either.

Phillips is an old style Republican, the one that went away when HIS party was taken over by fanatics He does put his nation above his party... he is a patriot. Enjoy the book
