A new text message spam scam!

I just got a text on my phone purporting to be from B of A and telling me "to avoid a service interruption on your account, please call 877-xxx-xxxx before 9 pm today." Obviously fake. I did let B of A know, since I actually DO have a B of A account. I was impressed because they bothered to get an actual 800 number to try and do their identity theft with. That's a lot of work and one would think that it could be traced down and they could be caught. Hopefully the bank will go get 'em! :) Damn, the scammers are getting worse and worse!

1. I got something just like it, but it was from AOL

which is my ISP. I knew it was a scam, so I alerted them. Not that it probably did any good to catch the scammers.
