I would have him sit on my head while I posted. He would look at the monitor, and i would say..."Look! Look at the people! They are called DUers!"

Then he would say "Gooers"?

Then I would say "No Franklin, DUers".

Then he would start going "OOK! OOK!

Then I would pet his furry little back.

1. He'd be too busy masturbating on your head and trashing your bathroom.

2. My monkey doesn't trash my bathroom.
Otherwise you've described him to a tee.

3. Your monkey can talk?
Turn him over to the authorities now! He will grow up to lead the ape revolt!

8. Monkey on the back
Is actually a very old phrase. Here is a web page that discusses some of its old origins from ancient Kemet (Egypt).

http://www.newagejournal.com/monkeyb.shtml

you actually can find this symbolism still out there. Although there are other references, like in more recent times where it is a bad addiction. And that itself could be a form of spiritual muse, for those that believe some compulsions are spiritual in nature.

The original Monkey on the back was however, not a bad thing, but the muse of a scribe.

Not sure if this was the intent of the comment of your OP.

I am not a 'new age' type person, but do find similarities in many cultures, some to be wary of ofcoarse, but many can give perspective and learning also.
