My husband is on a quest...
Edited on Wed Dec-31-08 08:21 PM by KC2
he has been gone for 2 hours, driving from store to store, looking for distilled water for our three (yes, THREE) humidifiers.

I knew I should have just gone out earlier and tried to find some for him.

What a funny way to spend New Year's Eve. :eyes:

1. ah yes, a quest on new years eve
I have been on some myself.

A scavenger hunt with all the work and none of the fun.

I wish him well.

3. I've tried to explain how a filter on our sink faucet would probably have...
the same results as store-bought distilled water, but he doesn't believe me.

2. In our store, they call it purified water
Just to confuse people, no doubt. But it is distilled water. Tell him to read the small print. :hi:

4. Time for a whole house humidifier. My HVAC guy added an automated one for me for around 250
I couldn't install it myself for that cheap an it works great.
