9. Horrific Beyond Belief

Father out of remission with relapsed cancer.
Discovered ex gf had died of pancreatic cancer (age 40!) and my own family kept it from me.
Sister diagnosed with autoimmune disorder, needs hip replacement at the age of 42.
Other sister withdraws completely, a painkiller addict, won't talk to anyone.

And that's just the last thirty days.

All the world events.

The only thing that went right was the Election.

Good riddance 2008. Go to hell.
