There is a thought, "It is impossible to know what is real outside your own experiance, except to trust what others say." When the trust of things like TV or News, or establish sources is weakened. Suddenly its impossible to know what is real or not.

But in reallity you never knew what was real before, you just trusted it was. You can only truely know the box you are in. Outside of that is trust, a good thing, but you can back it up with critical thinking.
