Picture of my city after dark from a couple days ago

I wish I could take credit but it was taken by the web developer for one of the local news stations.

1. My dear pokerfan!
Ah, that's beautiful!

Spokane, huh?

I lived in Richland for about 4 years back in the fifties...

We took a driving trip up to Grand Coulee dam once...

Stark, beautiful country!

:hi:

5. We've got over 40" of snow this month
but it tends to clear up briefly after each dumping.

8. If we get ten more inches this month it will break the local record
and we're expecting 6-8 inches tomorrow! Last Wednesday we broke the local 24 hour record when 25 inches landed upon us.

We normally get a fair amount of snow. We're east of the Cascade Mountains so it's usually colder here in the winter (than Seattle) which means snow instead of rain.

At least it's great for the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_wheat">winter wheat.

10. Thanks!
I love city night exposures because the lights are different everywhere and far different than uniform daylight. That's a really good example!

Have a great night.
