3. I had a house that looked somthing like that

I had to take a cut in pay and ended up having to sell the house. I wish I still had it. Now days I live in a little, one-bedroom condo. It's not as roomy, but it's half the cost and I don't have to worry about exterior maintenance, so I guess it's not all bad.

5. Our house is paid off.

The property taxes here are crazy.

6. LOL we pay $68 a year

total in property taxes here.

AZ and California were nutz, but NM is nothing.

7. You are lucky.

I couldn't pay the taxes by myself, there are 5 of us living in the house.

The school tax alone is high.

The townhouses have really raised the tax rate.
