Are you shellfish if you don't want squids?

My coworker just went on some bluefish rant about how someday I'll want squids because everybody does. Newsflash, fishstick - I don't have squids and I don't want em. No slight to you spawners out there - way to keep the species going. Personally, I just like having a big screen better. And in my current situation I don't feel obligated to lie to my dogfish about Santa Claus or pretend he's smart when he's not. Is there anything wrong with not wanting squids? How is it possibly shellfish to prefer other aspects of life to something or someone that doesn't exist?
