early in the game, you encounter a fairly unpleasant and sadistic prison warden by the name of Rosencaster.
He seems like a generic bad guy at first, but his backstory is heartbreaking, and the resolution to his storyline is so heartbreaking it almost made me cry. One of the playable characters is a giant space dog. And he takes himself totally seriously. But how can you take him seriously? He's a giant space dog! God I love that game...
