I need to make some of that this weekend. By "some", I mean "a whole mess of". I can't seem to make a normal amount.

2. I'm the same way with stew and a few other dishes.
I cannot make Spaghetti, Beef Stew, Lasagna, or soup in anything other than "enough to feed a small country" size.

And perhaps not coincidentally, those foods are also ones that I consider to be tastier as leftovers.

5. They're also awesome to freeze in individual serving containers
and have for lunch or a quick during the week dinner

4. There are many things, beef stew chief among them,...
that age gracefully overnight in the fridge and let the flavors merge. I believe such things shoud NOT be eaten "fresh" and should be made a day or two before and just heated the on the day of the meal. (But, there is always the threat that it may not survive refigerator raids that long)
