I have been looking all over, but the all seem so blah! Any ideas where to look?

2. Have you thought about trying to make your own, or buy a plain one and do stuff to it?

4. I have thought of those things...
but I want a base that will speak to me. If I made one from scratch it would be wood, and I rather have it made of metal.

5. This is the style of my Crystal. I was thinking of a silver base to balance.

6. I always thought this would make a cool crystal ball stand.
Something like this. The ones I was thinking of and that I've seen are Balinese, I couldn't find a pic though.

11. The local bowling alley?
Maybe the "pro shop" or whatever they call it have some interesting bowling ball stands that could be repurposed.
