Amazing! I knew about her, but didn't know much about her story. I would love it if someone did a documentary on her someday, too.

tonight. She is a great woman. Here's an actual quote:

11. That is sad news

according to the article she was about to be released from the hospital after recovering from pneumonia.

Here's a portrait of her done by Dave Stevens, who helped bring her back into the public spotlight in the 80s by depicting her as the hero's girlfriend in his comic book The Rocketeer. Unfortunately, Stevens died from leukemia earlier this year. He was 52.
