I had one a couple of days ago - thankfully, I didn't have to drive anywhere. Be careful on the way home.

Run a sink full of cold water and dunk your face into it.

Really. It knocks down the speeding heart rate just like THAT. I don't know if it might help with your other panic-attack symptoms, but at least it'll get your pulse rate under control.
