12. I'm actually really short.

I clock in at all of 5'2". It's kind of a running joke that LK is going to be bigger than me by the time he's ten. Not sure how he got so tall, his Dad's all of 5'5", presumably it's because all the men on my Dad's side of the family are 6'+.

13. When I saw my son on Thanksgiving...

He made a point of mentioning that "You're next." After I asked him what he meant by that, he said, "I'm taller than Pappy, taller than Grandma, and you're next." He's 14 and about 5' 11"; I'm 6' 2". He may just be right...
