She's simply following an old SNL adage that has also been adopted by Kathy Griffin and Molly Shannon: "Never be afraid to show off your underwear." (Re: Mary Katherine Gallagher and Ms. Griffin's stage antics.) Sometimes, it's just part of the comedy act. So what if a couple of guys get all shpadoinkle?

In that photo, her look really reminds me of some of the queens of the "silver screen," like Marlene Dietrich, Bette Davis, and Rosemary Clooney.

Although I'm sure the photograph was electronically touched up, she still looks phenomenal in that picture.
