1. A few weeks ago they were going on about Dallas being in the cellar
And I thought I had bookmarked it, but didn't. I knew that with Romo back, they could play much better.

However, I feel for Donovan McNabb. He truly is a good guy, and was a great quarterback, in my opinion. I think age may be catching up with him. I hate to see this happen to him in what will surely be his last year in Philly.

So, I guess, sue me. I like McNabb a helluva lot. I know how the Philly fans are. I hope they can cut him some slack. Their season is essentially over, and they need to show some class and support McNabb. He'll be in Chicago next year.

2. I think he was a very good quarterback, (with four trips to the NFC championships),
but is on the downside of his career. You think he'll end up in Chicago??

3. Probably. His home town.
Or anywhere else but Philly. I think he has finally worn out his welcome. Not with his attitude or behavior - it's just been 10 years, and he hasn't won the big game. He's getting older, and his skills seem to be diminishing. It's just time for a change, for both McNabb and the city of Philly. That's just my opinion, but it seems like you can see the writing on the wall.

4. Personally, I'd rather keep Donovan and lose Andy.

I don't know where he gets his playbook from the last few seasons, but it ain't working.
The Eagles manage to look bad evh when they win.
Given their remaining schedule, I see maybe 1 more win this season...
maybe.

5. See, I think Andy Reid is an excellent coach.
Who knows, maybe it's personnel. I think the Eagles had a window where they had great talent. Now, that talent is gone, and it's going to take some working from scratch. Including trying to find a franchise quarterback.

His decision to bench McNabb yesterday was controversial, but I still think he has a great mind for the game. I see McNabb being shown the door before Andy. Which is a shame, because they both worked so well together.

7. Interesting how they got rid of TO and McNabb went down the drain.

8. I think the game has passed Reid by, personally
Bad play calling, using a pass-happy system without good receivers, not having a clue in press conferences.. I was never a big fan. But at one time, he was good. Donovan might have something left, but not in Philly IMO.

9. That is what I don't understand - he was very aware and really controlled the games

but over the last 2 seasons, he has just let the team get sloppy.
They don't tackle well, their execution is terrible, and they seem to have no enthusiasm or spirit compared to what they were 3 or so years ago. They are not thinking right on the field.

Last season they lost at least 3 games they should have won, and this year they have done that already. I am doubtful they will win 2 more games this year.

Reid must seriously review his own contribution to this team.

I have really liked the combination of AR and #5 as well, and I hate to think it is ending, but these guys are just not playing anywhere close to where they should be.

6. The Baltimore Ravens, that's what happened.
Who's next up on the NFC Overrated schedule for the Ravens?
