Edit: changing out snark (only on there 'cause I'm an idiot, and most certainly not non-existent) for Oscar

3. Actuallly, a snipe is a rare breed of bird in asia.

Yeah, I was surprised to find that out, too.

81. They're not particularly rare, and exist worldwide
There's the Common Snipe in Europe and Asia, Wilson's Snipe in North America, the African Snip (guess where), and more. The 3 named have 'least concern' conservation status.

Personally, I'd never heard of a 'snipe hunt' until this thread. Must be an American thing.

60. wow! how totally cool is that?
It's just like how the guys at my work send new people over to my plant to get steam samples!! I give them a cup of tea for their trouble...or it was like those iron workers that tried to send me off for some "arc starter" for the welders. I'm like, oh let me write that down so I don't forget....though I must admit, that snipe does sound more legitimate than all of the other stuff...

anyways, found out that panthers are actually related to leopards (if you are crazy enough to get close enough to one and check it out). they do have spots, but don't stick around too long, just take my word for it!!!!! I am much slower now and if I had the same opportunity to make this comparison, I would at least run for it instead of standing there, going,"wow". haha. Some things are certainly wasted on the young....

21. Other: Turducken.
A Turducken is a dish consisting of a partially de-boned turkey stuffed with a de-boned duck, which itself is stuffed with a small de-boned chicken. The thoracic cavity of the chicken and the rest of the gaps are filled with, at the very least, a highly seasoned breadcrumb mixture or sausage meat, although some versions have a different stuffing for each bird.

The result is a relatively solid, albeit layered, piece of poultry, suitable for cooking by braising, roasting, grilling, or barbecuing. The turducken is not suitable for deep frying Cajun style (to deep fry poultry, the body cavity must be hollow to cook evenly).
