I'm shocked that there are no threads on the ND-Navy game (W/ Special appearence by Condi Rice)

One of the most insane game I've ever seen or been too. ND was up 27-7 with 2:00 left in the game. Navy has the ball and scores a touchdown against ND's second team defense. It's now 27-14. Navy kicks an onside kick with 1:30 to go, they recover it and promply score another touchdown, or do they? Replay shows that Navy reciever stepped out on the 1 yard line. It's overturned but navy scores on two plays later, now 27-21 and the once quiet cadets and rain soaked navy fans are going insane. Navy somehow recovers their SECOND onside kick in a row. With :33 seconds left and in a 3rd and long situation, Navy calls timeout. Only problem, they had already used all three. ND bench and ND fans explode in anger, Refs allow Navy to take their timeout. ND stops Navy on 3rd down and 4th down to hold onto the win. What a freaking insane game!

1. It was on NBC. The Notre Dame Broadcasting Channel.

ND is an extremely overrated team, that is really a division 2 team. I don't understand the fixation of people on Notre Dame.
They suck.

every team has had a down period, ND is in one now. You can't deny that ND is at or near the top in number of championships, Heisman trophy winners, all-americans, and NFL hall of famers. So is this hate like the hate directed towards the yankees, cowboys, celtics, and other historically successful teams?
