Wow. What an ordeal! First, thank you all for your support and friendship and cards and flowers and everything. I am a week ahead of schedule in my healing and I chalk it up to vibes. You people are the best.

I'm at my in-laws now getting home care. I'm not sure when I'll be well enough to go home to Brooklyn. The computer is upstairs and is shared by many people so I'm not sure how often I'll be able to check in, but I will as much as I can.

When I have a little more energy, I really want to tell you all everything from my p.o.v., but I can't stay in this chair much longer.

I just love you all so much.

There aren't any national holidays in August. Maybe we should have one on August 10 - the day you came back to The DU Lounge. Of course, we'll need a Democrat in the White House (and lots in Congress) to get that bill through.
