My friend and I were talk about how EVERY episode Popeye has to win Olivoil's affection. Then, the next day she's back with Bluto to start out. We were wondering WHY Popeye would put up with that shit. My buddy says it's cause Popeye was really ugly and couldn't get anyone else. I think it's ashame Popeye has such self-esteem issues.

I used to have a paper-route when I was a kid. I would have to wake up before dawn and fold those fucking papers. At that time of day, they had the really old cartoons on, and I saw a shitload of popeye. Why should he put up with her shit. She's fucking flat as a board, has some damned kid in tow (And who the fuck is that little bastard's dad?), and like you said, she's always flirting with that over-grown bearded fucko even after he's harrassed and even tried to rape her.
