I'm not sure I wanna see what they've done to it. x(

Okay... they tacked "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" onto it.

1. I thought it seemed rather unfamiliar --
but then again, I haven't watched it in years and years and years.... gotta say I was rather baffled, as it didn't seem to be even remotely what I remembered.

2. aren't those 80s ones awful?
full of platitudes and unfunny as hell.

much prefer the unadulterated, philosophical slant of the old ones. Tell me they haven't messed it up.

OTOH, it might be that they have the old one and then some poor rehash afterwards.

4. Nuh-uh
All the Charlie Brown Specials from the '60s — "A Charlie Brown Christmas," "Charlie Brown's All-Stars," "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," "You're in Love, Charlie Brown," "He's Your Dog, Charlie Brown" and "It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown" — were half-hours.

After that, I dunno.

5. I loved the camping/rafting movie
I rented and watched that the day before my first company's entry into the Charles River canoe race. It didn't help.

6. Shoulda watched that 'MASH' episode instead
The one where Winchester said that when he was a young'un, he reasoned that since it was the Charles River, it was his river.

So he... peed in it or somethin'.

8. Thirty-five minutes of ads out of 60?
That's worse than the Super Bowl. :wtf:

9. The worst part is
that they still won't show it uncut. They always trim out the alarm clock, walking out the door scene and skip directly to the pumpkin patch.

11. I tried to record it on my DVR tonight...
but when I went to watch it, only a minute of the movie recorded because of an "interruption". x( :grr:

"I got a rock."
