AIG has my money... I want my money back!! Whaa!

I've tried everything, short of chaining myself to the Wells Fargo branch where I took out the annuity... or chaining myself to the AIG building itself (down in Houston). I started trying to liquidate that stupid annuity on Sept. 16th.

The banker, at Wells Fargo, said it would take a month (at the most). AIG waited 6 weeks after the fax was sent & what did they send me? A form letter advising me I had surrender charges. I f*ing know I have f*ing surrender charges... and I signed the form at Wells Fargo agreeing to them 6 weeks ago. grr...

Short of getting an attorney, does anybody have any creative or resourceful ideas?

Now they say 5-7 days (I heard that last month too :-(). We'll see...

2. Contact your insurance ombudsmen for your state.

Also tell AIG you are doing this.
