think this was a good idea. It's easy to condemn the racism and Roveianism of her act, but at the end of the day I'm guessing this is a very disturbed, lonely, unhappy person...

10. That's certainly your prerogative. But in my opinion, very few of these

fake crimes are founded on any sort of rational decision-making process. She may not be mentally ill in a clinical sense, but there's a lot of room between a diagnosable illness and a normal healthy mental state. She needs to face the consequences of her actions, but I think those consequences need to be tempered by an honest assessment of how she got where she is...

If there is a demonstrable conspiracy to concoct a racist fake assault for political advantage, then my opinion would change. Until then, however, my bet is on sad lonely girl doing something crazy. (Which, IMO, is deserving of sympathy...)
