4. when the STBE left, he left me some wine.
I knew it wasn't everyday wine but it was dark and I didn't feel like going to buy something when there were three cases in the basement.

I pulled it out and it was soooo yummy, i used the google and it ranges from 140-170. Ooops

3. we had a boss that had a company dinner
in Detroit.

We were allowed any alchohol we wanted at Lellies. The bill for the night was over $10,000

Was a good night

8. Colonial Estate Exile 2004
it was sooooo unreasonably tasty.

It was the only one too. :( I admit that once I opened it and had a little taste, I opened a crappy concha y toro merlot to put in the food because I was not about to put one drop of this into my cooking.

What wines do you sell? the STBE is a wine salesman too. I am trying to avoid his wines when I go buying, and I am looking for everyday $6-8 bottles that I can get a case or two to just have.... I tend to lean to the Berberana No 1 Shiraz-Tempranillo or El Toqui Reserva Syrah.

Any and ALL suggestion are appreciated....

I have several other wines down the basement that I should probably google BEFORE I choose to pop them open. I have a 3-liter bottle of this:
http://www.boutiquewinecellar.com/wine_detail.php?winei...

I was planning on drinking it in a couple of weeks.

It was a wedding gift and since tomorrow would have been our anniversary, I am thinking I would share it with my friends - those who have stuck with me through thick and thin....

Or should I hold it? I really don't want to look at the personalized etched label too long....

9. You should hold that a bit
It would be excellent right now, but a 3 liter can stand a lot of aging and be better for it. Good wine coming off Diamond Mountain.

11. I hear you on the aging,,,,but
I just want to eliminate the etched wedding bottle.

I have 4 more bottles in the cellar (just 750ml)

10. Nice
I manage the wine and liquor department at a Safeway in a very rich California town. Consequently, though my store is one of the smallest in the area, my wine sales are the highest. I make no claims to expertise but in the 7 years I've been doing this, I've tried a lot of my stuff and learned a lot from my customers and at the tastings I go to.

As for the 3 liter, I would say drink it and enjoy. :hi:
