Okay, so this Crusoe show on the TV....
Edited on Fri Oct-17-08 08:50 PM by WCGreen
First, I thought Horatio left Miami and got stranded on an island with Worf from Las Vegas since they kilt him off this year. Well, last year, but he was a live for a minute in the Season opener.

But then I quickly, I'm smart like that, figured out that it was a variation on the old stranded on a desert Island blah blah blah.

Hello, it's been done.

Gilligan's Island ring a bell.

So I'm thinking to myself, is this gonna be like Lost without all the weird ass stuff that, quiet frankly, doesn't appeal to me.

But maybe there are babes, you know, an island, a stranded guy, each week we see what he is up too.

Get your mind out of the gutter.

So I tune in and what do I see, Pirates.

When was the last time we had Pirates on Prime Time TV!!!

A major break through, of sorts.

But then I noticed something, this guy and his pal Friday are suppose to have been on this Island for a quite a spell by now, they have built elaborate stuff just like the Family Robinson did in that hoary old Disney movie. Home made ropes, traps, neat stuff to appeal to the 12 year old in all of us. Not the Scotch the little DU'er...

But what struck me as very very very very odd was that they have perfect teeth.

Now I start to think to myself, self, there must be a Sears Dental Clinic on the Island 'cause these guys have perfect teeth. And then I look at the Pirates and of course their teeth look like they ate way too many Cheeto's since their teeth are all yellow and what not. But it looks as if they had extensive bridgework done.

Well the girl Pirate, oh yea, you knew there would be a girl Pirate whose all Sassy with heaving breasts behind a tight taunt Bodice so it can get ripped somewheres along the way. And guess what, she's got the perfect teeth too.

Just a bit yellow to make her menacing, Arrgggg.

So now that they have no creditability, how can I watch?

how about that fact that crusoe and the bodice and friday are all so beautiful, well coiffured and all. like that's even possible.

plus all of the ropes and pulleys and mcgiver stuff (and who makes orange juice six orange halves a time) anyway!

but my biggest question of the night was the dog. they explained how crusoe and friday got to the island. what about the dog? just one dog running about the island? just one? how does that work?

oh! wait! no! my biggest question was... after crusoe blowed-up most of the bad guys attacking him to find the gold (which exposed this giant gold cannon sticking out of the hole in the ground) how did the remaining bad guys just cut and run for the beach to get to their boat WITHOUT NOTICING THE GIANT FUCKING GOLD CANNON STICKING OUT OF THE LARGE HOLE IN THE GROUND!

huh! they just all ran off claiming the gold to be a myth. huh!

after all of that, i did notice that their teeth were too perfect. but only after that.

don't you just love television?

plus crusoe and friday humped the giant gold cannon (which must weight tonnes and tonnes, being GOLD and all) up the cliff and gently tossed it into the water below. just the two of them. gold being so light...

6. I couldn't get past the teeth...
They stood out when surrounded by all the other more realistic costumes.

My grandpa was a dentist and he use to drill us all with such fun facts as did you know, more people use to die from bad teeth than heart attacks...
