My friends, the "house elves" taped me to a chair to keep me from working when they were unpacking my stuff and moving furniture in my temporary apartment. Here is the video. :P

There are really awesome people everywhere. On my own I am no good at finding them. But when I meet people through friends, or through friends of friends, I seem to have a talent for finding those really awesome people and becoming good friends with them.

That is my reminder of things I have studied and learned over the years, and my quick focus for meditations that help with pain.

I had quite a few Hindu deities in various sizes and materials. I also had a few statues from Chinese, Tibetan, and Japanese mythos. That Ganesha and a small Laxmi are all I'm keeping. Everything else has either been given away or is going to be given away.

I also gave away half a dozen boxes of books about various religions, religious history, mythologies, mysticism, and theologies. I'm only keeping the ones I think I'll really enjoy re-reading.

Isis, Sarasvati, Green Tara, White Tara, two Virgin Marys, and at least five Quan Yins around my apartment. I can use all the Divine help I can get. And it does keep the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses off my doorstep ("What's with the prayer flags and the women with six arms?" "I don't know, Charlie, but I think this one's a lost cause".).
