3. i have to remind myself of that every time gas prices drop
i would get excited about a nickle drop in price, but then have to remind myself i was still getting reamed.

8. Actually, I saw it at 247.9 in OKC area today.
only at one place - fokkin' Wal-Mart. Several others at 249.9 though.

4. Prices will stay low(er) until the election, then they will climb again.


Republican controlled oil companies will make sure of it. They will take a "loss" (ha ha ha) now to lull voters into thinking things are getting better, because they know that gas prices sock everybody across the socio-political-economic spectrum square in the family jewels, and most people are at least aware on some level of the Republican-Big Oil bedfellowship.

This happened right before the last election, too.

9. One station I saw in CT was $2.99
Don't know why I didn't get gas then. I paid $3.39 at another.

12. $2.99 at the walmart in galena il. i paid $3.13 across the street.
i was visiting. it is still $3.50-3.80 in chicago.
