Has anyone here tried Dr. Perry's NightSkin?
I've heard about 80 ads for it today alone, between Rachel and Stephanie.

Does the stuff really work? And why can't I buy it in a store? I hate shopping online.

1. Well.
Let's back up a minute.

What are the issues you want to address? Wrinkles? Spots? Sagging Skin?

It is true that Retinol/Retin-A will help with these issues. So will Glycolic Acid and L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). However; there are many issues surrounding putting these products 1)in a solution and 2)in a solution together. Vitamin C is very hard to keep stable; and most products sit on the shelf far longer than they should to have maximum effect. I personally believe it is better to have three separate products with these ingredients, than to have them all in one. Then you don't have to worry about whether or not you are getting the most 'bang for your buck'; so to speak.
I make my own vit. C serum, and use a separate retinol treatment every day. I also use an AHA and a BHA every day; separate as well. My total cost for each item:
Vit. C serum: Less than $3 per batch I make up (cost of ingredients that I bulk get: $16 for l-ascorbic acid powder; $6 for the medium I mix it into(
Retinol: Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle Intensive Night Serum; $18
AHA: Walgreens AHA cream - 10% in a solution; $7
BHA: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment: $8

Now I don't use a Glycolic on a regular basis; but I'm about to order a peel to take care of some hyper-pigmentation on my back and shoulders from http://www.makeupartistschoice.com /

To check reviews on almost ANY beauty and makeup product - REAL reviews; go to http://www.makeupalley.com /
This is pretty much the most famous site for reviews and discussion on the internet in the US and several other countries. You will find loads and loads of info there. I have completely revamped my beauty routine from being on that site. It's helped me immensely.

To read more good info go to http://www.smartskincare.com /
A dermatologist started that site; and gives his unvarnished advice about different claims from today's products;and what has been scientifically proven to work and NOT work. He also has a skin care package or two that you can purchase as an ebook; that tells you how to make your own skin serums. That's where I got my recipe. Very good site; I cannot rec enough.

6. WOW!
Nini and I were up in your neighborhood last Saturday when GOPisEvil was in town. Yomama Sushi had moved to Camarillo, and we were there too soon before it opened for the evening - so we went elsewhere. We mentioned you and our last gathering up there. Thought maybe you had left DU for good. Wish we had a way to contact you at the time! :hi: Great to see you! :bounce:

10. Just a little sun damage below my neck - doesn't match the rest of my skin
and it's very annoying! Other than that, my skin's good. So it's not really wrinkles and I don't have crows' feet.

12. Not everyone gets crows' feet.
I am 69 years old and do not have crows' feet because I never go into the sun without sunscreen or sun glasses. Squinting causes crows' feet.

13. It's funny they didn't edit the sneeze out
I've heard Kathy's ad several times, with the sneeze. Did they think it was cute, thus not editing it?
